Everything was easy, from scheduling an appointment and being seen quickly, to the process of getting the retainer - which is quality and reasonably priced, even with opting in for insurance on them.While I thankfully needed no more work on my own teeth at the moment, I also wanted to find an orthodontist in the area for my future family, and it's safe to say I will be back for all our needs in the future! "My son has been going to Rad Orthodontics for over 5 years now. Dr. Rad and his staff did a great job with fixing his underbite. They are always happy, polite and friendly. I am very happy with everything. Yesterday, we went to see Dr. Rad to see if my son is ready for Invisalign. Lam was very thorough and took a great scan of my son’s teeth. After Dr. Rad checked out my son’s teeth, he did not recommend Invisalign as my son’s jaw is still changing. I appreciate that he prefers us to wait and not rush to start treatment right away when it is not needed."

"As an adult with prior partial braces decades ago, I was looking for mild to moderate adjustments and Rad Orthodontics was great! The remote scanning concept was perfect for me even though the Scanbox contraption was awful. I just used the cheek retractor which was good enough. Efficient and accessible, Lum was my primary provider and he was excellent in monitoring my scans and responding to my questions. He was always courteous and professional - a real asset to the group! Overall, the office is well run and they all work smoothly together. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!"

I have been to other places to see about getting braces and was not happy about the intake but this place did every x-ray, took every photo and I even sat down with the owner to talk about my smile. "My experience getting my braces put on was great. My initial visit was the consultation. Dr. Mehdy Rad was knowledgeable about my situation. We spoke on correcting the current issues and was given options on how to correct my smile. I was able to pick out which braces I wanted to go with and from there a treatment plan was discussed. I weighed my options between Invisalign and self ligating braces. I wanted to see the results so I chose the self ligating braces. He asked about my concerns and explained the process thoroughly. I didn’t have any pain or discomfort with the process of putting the braces on. I was given an after care instructions sheet and sent home. I will update you all later. In regards to getting braces whether you choose Invisalign or self ligating braces, you have to be mindful of food choices and possible diet changes. The self ligating braces are comfortable and great for younger children too. Stay tuned😉"

"I am a senior patient (over 50, let's say!) getting my teeth straightened using Invisalign! Dr. Collymore on Democracy Boulevard in Bethesda is my doctor. I don't know where to begin. From the get-go, I entered an immaculate office with staff that was very welcoming. Within 5 minutes I was taken to the exam room where the ortho technician spoke to me about my teeth, took fully digital scans (no more biting into glop) on incredible imaging equipment. Within 1/2 hour of scans and ex-rays and visits from all staff in the office, I was sitting in Dr. Collymore's (Dr. C) office. There was a huge screen with all of my scans displayed. When Dr. came in minutes later, she fully explained my teeth, asked what my goal was, how I felt, and we chatted. Her explanation was spot on and after more questions I decided right then and there to go ahead. Having been around doctors for decades and having my 4 grown sons treated when they were kids, I knew exactly what I didn't want in an orthodontist, and I knew I found the place. They treat people from school age to 90! I was told how the process works. Two weeks later - on the day they had promised, the lab had sent twenty aligners (10-week's worth), I went to the office for a very comprehensive teaching session with the technician, she showed me via digital imaging what my teeth would look like every two weeks (the wearing cycle for each pair of aligners). After the 1:1 "tutorial", she gave me my "goodie bag'" of aligners, directions, paste, brush, and everything I should need though she made in VERY clear that I could come in whenever I needed help or advise. Then Dr. C came in to chat and exam - and it was not 1,2,3. She spent all the time I needed looking and answering questions. She is extremely affable. warm a great communicator, and makes you feel comfortable. Anyway, I think you can figure out that I am very pleased and have found the correct doctor for me, further confirmed by speaking to many other parents of patient who went elsewhere and always had a bad story to tell. I am very impressed with how professional and kind the staff is - and FYI, I've never spent time reviewing anything - even after years on AMAZON!! HAAA!"

My daughter had two teeth coming in from the roof of her mouth and needed them pulled out because they were impacted and obviously in the wrong place. The baby teeth needed to be pulled to make room for the adult teeth. We had to expose the teeth and add chains in her mouth to attach to the braces. "I'm a student in DC who's not from the area, and so when my permanent metal retainer broke off from one my teeth I had to scramble to find an orthodontist who could help me. Rad Orthodontist was suggested to me by a family friend, and when I called they were able to get me an appointment for that same day. The office is very nice, with a modern and clean look. The staff were all wonderful and very kind, making me feel comfortable and welcome despite it being my first visit. In less than 15 minutes I was all done, with my retainer glued back on.
