Dori Alleyne, Treatment Coordinator

Dori is originally from Trinidad and moved to the United States in 1989. She graduated from Stratford University with a degree in Culinary Arts while simultaneously working in the dental field. She became a Certified Dental Assistant as well as a Certified Orthodontic Assistant over sixteen years ago. Her career has covered everything from clinical assisting to office administration. She still loves to cook for friends and family, dance and travel.

Julia Teixeira, Financial Coordinator

Julia grew up in Brazil and received her Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Brasilia. She moved to the United States in 1992 and continued to study in the areas of Business Management and Human Resources. She is now the Financial Coordinator and uses her degrees to assist patients with all of their scheduling and financial needs. She enjoys playing in her softball league, traveling the world and singing with her Brazilian band.

Mary Ann Lipovsky, Lab Technician

Mary Ann was born and raised in Washington, D.C. and began in orthodontics as a chair side clinician over 40 years ago. She utilizes her experience in art to excel in laboratory fabrication. She pursues seminars and courses in order to keep up to date in her specialty. Her passions include her family, cooking, traveling and painting. She has three children, Diane, Michael and Suzanne, who give her much joy.

Rebeca Alvarado, Orthodontic Technician

Rebeca is Salvadorian and was born in Washington, D.C. She joined Rad Orthodontics as a patient in 2005 and became an employee in January 2007. She is the youngest member of the team and is currently working towards a degree in Graphic/Advertising Arts. Since starting with Rad Orthodontics, Rebeca has realized that although she loves graphic design, she wants to pursue a career in dentistry! Rebeca has two adorable dogs, enjoys cooking, running, dancing and spending time with family and friends.

Samantha McIlwain, Orthodontic Technician

Sam grew up in Potomac, Maryland and graduated in 2009 from the University of Maryland at College Park with a Bachelors of Science degree in Pre-Medicine. She joined Rad Orthodontics shortly after in order to gain experience in the medical/dental field. Over the past year, Dr. Rad has inspired her to pursue dental school and she is currently working toward her goal of becoming a dentist. Sam enjoys baking, playing soccer and visiting her family in Italy.

Brenda Villeda, Patient Coordinator

Brenda was born in Guatemala and came to the United States at the age of 13. She attended school in Virginia and has experience in the customer service field. Brenda has four children and enjoys dancing, watching movies and eating Thai food!

Tanya Walker, Orthodontic Technician

 Tanya is from Atlanta, Georgia and moved to Maryland in December of 2010.  She has 12 years of experience working in the orthodontic field and has been a certified Orthodontic Technician since 2000.  Tanya attended Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, GA. She enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, playing tennis, and dining out!
