Meet Dr. Petrarca

Dr. Carmine Petrarca is a native of the DC area.  He is a graduate of Gonzaga College High School and Georgetown University, both in Washington, DC.  Dr. Petrarca is a compassionate Orthodontist who enjoys getting to know every one of his patients.


Dr. Petrarca attended West Virginia University School of Dentistry.  During his time there, Dr. Petrarca received a Board of Governors Academic Scholarship, a Mosby Book Award for Academic Excellence, and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. 

Dr. Petrarca went on to receive a Master of Science in Orthodontics as well as a Certificate of Proficiency in Orthodontics from the University of Illinois School of Dentistry.

Dr. Petrarca lives in Bethesda in the home he shared with his late wife.  He is very proud of their daughter, who graduated with honors from the Academy of the Holy Cross and is now in college in Virginia.  Dr. Petrarca enjoys playing golf and tennis, exercising, dancing and traveling.  He reads history books and keeps up with current events in his spare time.
